"You don't owe anyone a coming out. You deserve connection, community, and love — exactly as you are, right now."
About Arjun
Arjun Nair is an LGBTQ+ advocate and community organizer based in Mumbai, with roots in Kerala. He came out publicly at 24 and has spent the last 10 years building support networks for queer Indians — especially those still navigating closeted lives in conservative families.
Arjun volunteered with Humsafar Trust for four years before joining Stick in 2024. He has spoken at Mumbai Pride, Queer Azaadi March, and multiple college queer collectives across India. He's known for his warm, story-first approach to advocacy.
He writes candidly about his own coming out journey, dating experiences, and the slow progress of acceptance in Indian families. His essays have appeared in Gaysi Family and Queer Chennai Chronicles.
